Services
Windsor Family Dental provides general, preventive, cosmetic and restorative dentistry for patients of all ages. What follows is what each of those involves.
General & Family Dentistry
Check-ups, fillings, extractions and ongoing care for every age, in one practice — so a family does not have to split across three offices.
Preventive Cleanings & Exams
Scaling and polishing, a full examination including oral cancer screening, and digital X-rays where they are needed to see between and beneath the teeth.
Cosmetic Dentistry & Whitening
Veneers, bonding and professional whitening. We go through what each option can and cannot change for your teeth before you decide.
Invisalign & Orthodontics
Clear aligners and fixed braces for teens and adults. Suitability depends on the case, so we assess first and refer to an orthodontist where that is the better route.
Dental Implants
Titanium implants to replace a missing tooth, from planning and placement through to the crown. Placement requires enough healthy bone, which we assess with imaging beforehand.
Root Canal Therapy
Treatment of an infected or inflamed tooth pulp to relieve symptoms and keep the natural tooth in place, under local anaesthetic.
Emergency Dental Care
Time set aside each day for toothache, swelling, broken teeth and dental trauma.
Pediatric Dentistry
Check-ups, cleanings, fluoride and sealants for children, with a parent or guardian present throughout.
The dentists at Windsor Family Dental are registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario as general practitioners, not as specialists. Treatment that calls for a specialist is referred out.
What it costs
We direct-bill most major insurance providers, including Sun Life, Manulife, Green Shield, and Canada Life. We also accept patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), and we can set up a payment plan if you have no coverage.
We work from the Ontario Dental Association fee guide and give you a written estimate before any treatment is booked.
